WHITEMARSH — Plymouth Whitemarsh extended its shutout streak to four games Monday afternoon with a 7-0 nonleague win over Lower Moreland at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.
The Colonials limited the Lions to three shots on goal across 60 minutes and surrendered three penalty corners.
“On the attack, we’ve been doing a good job of keeping possession,” PW coach Charise Halteman said. “It allows our defense to really settle in and early and see what’s in front of them. We’ve been limiting the other team’s shots and corner opportunities. It’s exciting, we’ve been putting a lot of different people in, all three of our goalkeepers are getting in. It is a combined team effort for these shutouts that’s nice to see.”
