Re “As House returns, Poilievre vows to hold Liberals to account” (Bryan Passifiume, Sept. 15): Good for Pierre Poilievre. Perhaps one of the best opposition leaders Canada has ever had. Did the Conservative Party of Canada deliberately choose a candidate for prime minister who is so strong at being in opposition rather than leadership? Leadership, character, experience — they matter. I hope the Conservative Party will come to their senses in their upcoming leadership review.
