GRAND JUNCTION Colo. (KREX)- The City of Grand Junction has completed the reconfiguration of Fourth Street, from 'Ute Avenue' to 'Grand Avenue' returning it to its original design.
This follows the vote on August 20th by City Council members, to change both Fourth and Fifth Streets back to their original layout.
Work on Fifth Street began on September 11th, and crews will continue working through the week to make similar changes.
Officials say these updates are to improve safety, accessibility, and traffic flow in the area.
