SALT LAKE CITY — The FBI’s Salt Lake City Division has created an online victim services center to support those who were at the fatal shooting of political commentator Charlie Kirk last week.
On Monday, the agency announced that the Virtual Family Assistance Center would “support those at the event” at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.
“FBI resources across the country, including victim specialists, responded to assist those who have been affected,” the FBI said in its press release.
One service the center offers is returning personal items left behind at the UVU Courtyard, where Kirk was holding his “American Comeback” tour.
