MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A large Tennessee Highway Patrol presence was in Raleigh at Austin Peay and Singleton after multiple cars were damaged in a crash.
FOX13 crews on the scene saw more than two dozen law enforcement vehicles from both the Memphis Police Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
A major section of Austin Peay Highway was also shut down.
Three cars were seen severely damaged and were being towed away.
FOX13 crews also saw troopers searching a wooded area with their flashlights.
According to Memphis police, they were on the scene to assist THP with traffic control.
