It was another pre-roses weekend test drive for the Rose Parade floats.

Artistic Entertainment Services, known as AES, took several 2026 floats out for a spin on the streets of Azusa on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The Kindness is Free Powered by Boys & Girls Clubs of West San Gabriel Valley, One Legacy Donate Life, The UPS Store, and the Michael D. Sewell Memorial Foundation floats gave onlookers an early glimpse of what is coming for the Jan. 1 extravaganza.

This year’s Tournament of Roses theme is “The Magic in Teamwork!” and on Saturday, it was teams that readied the slow-moving floats, offering a rare glimpse of the inner-workings of the contraptions.
