Prosecutors have dropped a charge against one of two Sydney nurses charged over a video in which they allegedly threatened Israeli patients, a court has heard.

Ahmad Rashad Nadir and Sarah Abu Lebdeh made international headlines in February after a video of the two nurses allegedly bragging about killing Israeli patients at Bankstown Hospital, in Sydney’s west, spread online.

The pair have both been stood down from their jobs at NSW Health and have been hit with a two-year ban on working with NDIS patients.

Ms Abu Lebdeh was charged with threatening violence to a group, using a carriage service to threaten to kill and using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend.
