Prince George’s County police seek the public’s help to find a woman accused of killing her grandmother.

Breante Thomas, 28, of Waldorf, is wanted on first- and second-degree murder and first- and second-degree attempted murder charges in connection with the killing of her 81-year-old grandmother, Helen Thomas, county police said.

Police said officers were called around 1:50 p.m. Sunday for a welfare check at the grandmother’s house on Bonhill Drive in Fort Washington, where they found Helen Thomas suffering from stab wounds. She died at the scene, police said.

A preliminary investigation indicates Breante Thomas also stabbed a second family member, who is in critical condition but stable.
