BLOOMINGTON — Expanding its fan-facing lineup of preseason events, IU men’s basketball announced Monday plans to host a public scrimmage inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall next month.

The Cream & Crimson Scrimmage, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 3, comes one day after the program ’s already confirmed Hoosier Hoops on Kirkwood fan fest . The scrimmage is open to the public, and admission is free. D
