BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The Bluegrass Wedding Barn venue went up in flames on Monday.
The Boyle County Fire Department says it happened just after 11 a.m. in a remote part of the venue, which is in a rural area.
Nearly 20 fire crews were on scene for about three and a half hours battling the fire.
A spokesperson for the Boyle County Fire Department says the cause seems to have started around an electrical unit, and dry conditions don’t seem to have contributed. However, they say the heat made the firefighting more difficult.
No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
