The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians has received a $110,000 economic development grant through FHLBank San Francisco’s AHEAD program, in partnership with Montecito Bank & Trust.
The award is part of $8 million in AHEAD grants distributed across Arizona, California, and Nevada this year to support 64 projects expected to help preserve or create about 14,000 jobs.
“We remain committed to investing in communities throughout Arizona, California and Nevada and to funding organizations leading innovative and impactful economic development programs,” said Joseph E. Amato, interim president and CEO of FHLBank San Francisco.
