LAYTON, Utah (ABC4) — A Smith's in Layton has been evacuated out of an abundance of caution as Layton Police investigate a reported bomb threat.
According to a social media post from Layton City Police Department, Layton Police are on scene at the Smith's grocery's grocery store located at 1170 E Gentile St. They are investigating "the report of a bomb threat," according to the post.
Lieutenant Clint Bobrowski with Layton Police told ABC4 that the threat was reported after someone outside the store told another person outside not to go in because there was a bomb inside. The second person reported it to police.
The Smiths was evacuated "out of an abundance of caution" while the investigation is
