HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Warrick County Sheriff's Office says a K9 officer has passed away.

The sheriff's office says K9 unit Jinx died after complications from surgery. He had been with the sheriff's office since 2023.

Officials say Jinx will be missed by his partner, Deputy Wester, and the community.
