LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Louisville football will look to stay undefeated this weekend as the Cardinals host Bowling Green following an early bye week.

The Cardinals are back in action after having last week off, which was preceded by a hard-fought win over James Madison the week prior.

Louisville heads into Saturday's matchup with the Falcons as a 26.5-point favorite.

And while the Cards look primed to pick up a third win, their defense will be without a key player. Stanquan Clark left the Cards' win over James Madison in the fourth quarter, and according to head coach Jeff Brohm, he's likely out for the season.

"Unfortunately, Stanquan had lower leg surgery," Brohm said. "[He's] more than likely out for the year. Could he come back late in the process? Possibly."
