CEDAR PARK, Texas — One person was arrested Monday evening after crashing a truck into a home in Cedar Park.

According to the Cedar Park Police Department, the incident happened at the intersection of Timberwood Drive and Brashear Lane .

No injuries to residents have been reported, but officials say the crash sparked a house fire and caused a gas leak.

Fire and police crews responded to find a vehicle against a home that was on fire. Flames extended into the attic. While the house fire has been extinguished, officials say both the gas leak and the vehicle fire are still active.

Fire crews are working with Atmos Energy to shut off the gas.

Cedar Park Fire Chief James Mallinger confirmed to KVUE that the driver of the truck was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
