In light of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, recalling what happened in New York 24 years ago Thursday, and thinking about other horrific killings in the past, it is apparent to me that it is not guns, or airplanes, or vehicles, or knives that kill people. It is people who have evil in their hearts and minds that kill people.

Rather than being partisan, and sometimes exhibiting a hateful sentiment, I pray that all of our political leaders, and every American and hopeful Americans, and others in the world who believe in truth, honesty, respect, and the value of every life, will use this as a spark to change. Politicians, please focus and work on the problem, which is hate, and not on the tools that haters use to harm and kill those who don’t think as they do. I hope you get it. The probl
