El Paso police homicide detectives arrested two men accused in a shooting that killed a man and wounded woman at an East Side home last week.

Jearhamel Fanaro, 34, was killed and a 26-year-old woman was wounded in the shooting on Sept. 9 at a home in the 1700 block of Dale Douglas Drive near Trawood Drive, stated a news release issued by police spokeswoman Stephanie Shields on Monday, Sept. 15.

Fanaro died at the scene from gunshot wounds after shots were fired outside the house at about 2:30 a.m. in the Vista Hills neighborhood, police said. The wounded woman was transported to a hospital in undisclosed condition.
