MURRAY – A Murray woman was sentenced in Calloway County Circuit Court Monday to 10 years in prison for attempted murder, while a Murray man was given parole for his involvement in a shooting incident.

Crimson Jackson pleaded guilty on Aug. 8 to attempted murder (Class B felony), first-degree strangulation (Class C felony), and first-degree burglary (Class B felony). Calloway County Circuit Judge Andrea Moore Moore sentenced Jackson Monday to 10 years for each of those three charges, with the sentences to be served concurrently for a total of 10 years.
