LAKE LINDEN — The Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes football team posted another big score on the gridiron Saturday and earned their second win of the season. They defeated the Rapid River Rockets, 62-14, at Ron Warner Field.

“I liked the complete game that we played,” said Lakes coach Brett Gervais. “We were down, but we bounced back.”

The Lakes opened the scoring on their first drive. It was a 50-yard trek down the field that ended in a pass play from Brady Axford to one of his triplet brothers, Tyler. Brady earned two more and the Lakes led 8-0 after one.

The Rockets scored first in the second with Hayden Kee scoring on a run up the side at the 11:56 mark. Their two-point attempt was no go. However, they took the lead just three minutes later with a pass play. Lane Olsen hit Jared Huskey ope
