The Honolulu Police Department opened a murder investigation after a 57-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by a 27-year-old woman on Olomea Street tonight.

A little after 8 p.m. HPD officers responded to a reported argument on Olomea Street involving a 57-year-old female and a 27-year-old male, according to police. “The argument escalated, and the male suspect stabbed the female victim. The victim was treated and transported to an area

hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after 9 p.m.,” according to HPD.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder in the second degree and the police investigation is active and ongoing.
