BRISTOL, Va. – Gambling revenues for Bristol’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino exceeded $22 million for the second straight month during August, generating over $1.3 million for the region.

Total adjusted gaming revenue – wagers minus winnings – were $22.32 million, down from $22.9 million reported during July, according to a new report from the Virginia Lottery. August represented the third highest total reported since the Hard Rock opened last November.

The overwhelming majority of revenues came from slots play, with $18.6 million from its 1,384 machines and $3.71 million from the facility’s 73 table games.
