OMAHA, Neb. —
Westside schools announced that the high school will have classes on Tuesday.
Classes were canceled on Monday after a water line break .
Contractors worked all day and into the night Monday to get the water fixed.
In a statement, the district said that the contractors were successful in their repair efforts.
This is the message that was sent to families Tuesday morning:
"WHS will have classes as usual today, Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
Our contractors worked through the night and have restored water to Westside High School. Because repairs required digging into the parking lot, there is still some concrete work to finish. Please see the attached graphic showing the temporary drop-off/pick-up route in the main lot. Parking remains available in the main lot.
