CLEVELAND (WJW) – ESPN is reporting that Shedeur Sanders was going to be drafted by the Baltimore Ravens, but Sanders wasn’t interested.
According to the report, the Ravens were going to draft Sanders in the 5th round with the No. 141 pick.
However, ESPN reports Sanders told the Ravens he didn’t want to be on the roster with Lamar Jackson because he wouldn’t have a chance to play anytime soon.
The Ravens instead drafted offensive lineman Carson Vinson with the 141st pick.
Three picks later, the Cleveland Browns traded up to select Sanders at No. 144.
