HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Hastings City Council has made some changes to proposed budget cuts during a special meeting Monday night. The goal of the meeting was to discuss where cuts could be made to the budget to save $360,000.

The initial proposed cuts included:

Administrative and Professional Services - $10,000

Administrative training and conferences - $5,000

Safety Award - $7,500

Activity Guide - $16,000

Removal of credit card fees - $18,000

Operation budget cuts - $16,000

Water Park Operation - $98,571

Library Hours - $64,000

Hoopla - $45,000

Part-time position - $5,000

Museum Hollywood Movies - $13,000
