RIYADH: A Mangalore native died in a major accident in Al Jubail, the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. Abdul Raziq (25), a native of Ullal, Mangalore, died. The buses carrying workers were involved in the accident on the King Fahad Highway.
Abdul Raziq was working as a supervisor in a company in Jubail. Father: Muhammad, Mother: Atijamma. The body was shifted to the Jubail General Hospital mortuary. He will be buried in Saudi Arabia after the official formalities are completed.
There were about 29 passengers in both buses, which were driven by Pakistani nationals. Eight people, including Mohammed Fakhruddin Siddiqui, Prince Alloy Ess (India), Faisal Mehboob Ali (Pakistan), and Kamal Kishore Yadav (Nepal), suffered injuries. The injured are being treated at Al Mana Hospital.
