A 50-year-old motorcyclist from Seattle was killed after a hit-and-run in South Seattle Saturday night.
The motorcyclist, the suspected driver, and a 44-year-old driver from Burien were all heading south on State Route 509, approaching Myers Way South in the South Park neighborhood, according to a report from the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
WSP stated the motorcyclist changed from lane two to lane one to take the exit to Myers Way. The suspected driver was in lane one and hit the motorcyclist at an accelerated speed, pushing him into lane two.
The suspected driver then hit the right barrier for several feet before veering into lane two.
Meanwhile, the driver from Burien was traveling in lane two when he was hit by the suspected driver, causing him to hit the motorcyclist.
