On Monday, the Republican House minority leader of Colorado resigned following a recent scandal involving a state representative at the Colorado General Assembly who secretly photographed a colleague and shared it with other lawmakers.

Rose Pugliese announced her resignation as both House minority leader and state representative, effective immediately, citing “much prayer and self-reflection” in a letter to friends and supporters. She expressed gratitude for their support: “Your faith and confidence in me have meant so much to me, and I am forever thankful.”
