EGG HARBOR CITY — The city wants to do its part to add more housing to address a persistent shortage locally and in the country.
City officials and the Atlantic County Economic Alliance want to transform about 200 acres of land near Cedar Creek High School into a new single-family and mixed-use housing community.
“It’s basically all trees. Cedar Creek sits in the middle of all of it,” Mayor Lisa
Jiampetti said.
Three companies have responded to a request for qualifications from the city, she said.

An Open Public Records Act request was submitted for the names of the three companies that responded to the request for qualifications.
