Costco, one of America's largest warehouse retailers, has issued a recall for its Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene after the retailer warned that some 750-milliliter bottles may "spontaneously shatter."
The recall covers bottles sold at Costco locations in multiple Midwestern states between April 25 and August 26, 2025, and applies to item number 1879870. The retailer is offering full refunds to members who present the recall notice sent by the company.
Newsweek contacted Costco for comment via an online form on its website outside normal working hours.
