HOWLAND The Trumbull County Coroner's Office has released the official findings in the death of a father and son in a Howland Township home.
Trumbull County Coroner Lawrence D'Amico tells 21 News the deaths of eight-year-old Leonard "Lenny" Lee Roosa and his father, 33-year-old Leonard James Roosa were both found to be accidental.
D'Amico found the cause of their deaths to be acute carbon monoxide poisoning.
Lenny and Leonard died while working in a home on the 5000 block of Mines Road the evening of Monday, August 11. The home had been vacant for some time prior to the incident.
The two lived in Garrettsville, Ohio in Portage County. Lenny attended Windham Exempted Village School District, with school officials mourning his loss and describing him as a "funny, kind and thoughtful
