A man in Italy faces manslaughter charges after he allegedly jumped from a building in a suicide attempt and fatally struck a woman below.

The victim has been identified by local media as 83-year-old Francesca Manno.

Emergency services responded to a residence in Milan, Italy, on Sunday, Sept. 14, where they pronounced Manno dead, Italian news outlets Rai News , Il Post and Il Mattino reported, alongside Italian news agency Ansa .

The investigation revealed Manno died when a 70-year-old man who lived in her building jumped from his balcony
