Chris Meloni has Mariska Hargitay's back ... and front. Well, he has all of her.

The longtime friends who first met at a "Law & Order: SVU" audition in the late '90s had a ball, again, at the Emmy Awards Sept. 14.

The pair presented the award for outstanding drama series alongside fellow "Law & Order" franchise stars Ice-T and Tony Goldwyn, as well as former cast member S. Epatha Merkerson . The gathering of actors was also in honor of 35 years of the mothership "Law & Order" series, which began in 1990 and ran for 20 seasons before going off the air. It returned in 2022 .

Hargitay and Meloni, who were also seated alongside Goldwyn and Ice-T in the audience of the award show, documented all the fun they had on social media.
