NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting in the Milneburg neighborhood on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

According to the NOPD, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 6300 block of Arts Street around 9:45 a.m., where they found a male who had been shot. • (WGNO/Renaldo Ruffin) • (WGNO/Renaldo Ruffin)

He was taken to a hospital by EMS, where he later died.
