The global partnership between Martell Cognac and AfroFuture was brought to life this Friday (Sept. 12), as the legendary cognac house celebrated the global influence of Afrobeats and other African cultural moments during New York Fashion Week.

Extending a warm welcome via a selection of Martell cocktails, the evening officially began with a guided cognac tasting with Martell Brand Ambassador Jasmin Goldstein, who walked guests through three variations of the spirit; Martell VS, Martell Blue Swift and Martell Cordon Bleu. This was followed by dinner prepared by Chef Tayo of Ebi-Ayo Supper Club, merging Nigerian tradition with Italian flavor via dishes like his Lobster Jollof Risotto and his Sweet Plantain Fusilli Pasta, a standout of the evening.
