Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell joined TODAY's Craig Melvin to discuss their new movie "A Big Beautiful Journey" set to debut in theaters Friday, September 19.
Before they could discuss the romantic fantasy that follows the journey of two strangers who meet at a friends wedding, sad news broke that Hollywood legend Robert Redford , had died at the age of 89.
Melvin took a moment to acknowledge the breaking news and invited the actors to share their thoughts.
"He was beautiful," said Farrell, recalling a memorable encounter he had with him at the Sundance Film Festival nearly two decades ago.
He went on to describe Redford as a "titan in the world of cinema."
Farrell reflected on the actor's memorable screen presence and legacy before wishing "a safe passage to his soul onward.
