OSCODA – Atlanta just might be the best Division 4 volleyball team in northern Michigan, so they don’t need any favors. Oscoda didn’t get off to the start they wanted when they played on the Lady Huskies’ home court Thursday, and eventually lost the North Star League crossover match 25-20, 25-21, 22-25 and 25-22.
“We had a slow start to the night, and we just didn’t pick it up enough to pull out the win,” head coach Melissa Curley said. “Our mental game is our weakest aspect of the game right now. I believe we have a good team this year, I just need the girls to believe it and put in the energy to prove it. The skill is there, we just need to increase the consistency, but once it all clicks, these girls will be hard to stop.”
