In Week 2, Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow left the game early against the Jacksonville Jaguars after suffering an injury.

The initial timeline estimate was four-to-six weeks, but a report on Monday showed that Burrow will need surgery on his turf toe injury that will sideline him for at least three months.

For now, all signs point to Jake Browning being the QB1 for Cincinnati, as he did in 2023 after Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury.

The only other quarterback on the Bengals roster was veteran Brett Rypien, and he was on the practice squad, so there was a need to add at least one more QB to the roster.

On Tuesday, the Bengals made a flurry of quarterback moves, signing both Mike White and Sean Clifford to the practice squad.
