TAMPA, FLA. - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers start the season 2-0 for the fifth year in a row after a 20-19 victory over the Texans in Houston at NRG Stadium.

The win marks the Buccaneers' first-ever regular-season win as a franchise in the city of Houston on Monday Night Football.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield showed grit and character after propelling a last-minute 80-yard touchdown drive in a 20-19 thriller.

The team holds a one-game lead in the NFC South with its 2-0 record.

The Buccaneers will play their home opener against the New York Jets on Sunday, September 21.
