(LEX 18) — George Wayne Aldridge was convicted of first-degree rape in a 2005 Jefferson County sexual assault case and sentenced to 15 years in prison, according to a release from the Kentucky Justice Cabinet.

The release states Aldridge must serve 85 percent of the sentence before he is eligible for parole and will also be required to register as a lifetime offender on the sex offender registry.
