The National Weather Service in Atlanta has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for north and central Georgia, warning residents to remain alert as dry conditions persist alongside the potential for isolated thunderstorms in the days ahead.
While rainfall has been scarce across much of the region, forecasters say there is a possibiliy of scattered storms, some of which may become strong.

Rain in Georgia this week
The weather outlook said that Tuesday will bring isolated thunderstorms across parts of north Georgia between noon and 9:00 p.m.
The outlook further includes the possibility of additional isolated thunderstorm activity on Wednesday, Sunday, and Monday.
