OSCODA – It was a fairly close loss. It was a really good showing. The Oscoda swim and dive team certainly liked what they saw on Tuesday, Sept. 9, when they came up short in a home Independent Swim Conference dual against Standish-Sterling, 91-73.
“We are excited about where our team is going,” head coach Ellen Doherty said. “We continue to work towards a common goal of cohesion and accountability. We had a great debut by Ciara Arthur, who has only been on the diving board for three weeks. We have identified some areas to work on and are excited to get after it in our practices. Our team is proud of where we are at this point in our training process.”
The Owls started things off with a second place finish in the 200 medley relay, with Kylie Gallahar, Carly Mongeau, Arthur and Alexis Byr
