INDIANA — This year’s National Farm Safety and Health Week will run from Sunday through September 27, with a focus on improving the safety of workers in one of the nation’s most hazardous industries: agriculture. The campaign, organized by the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety, is critical as fatal occupational injuries in agriculture-related industries increased by 5.38% from 2022 to 2023.

The theme for this year’s week is “Safety First—Avoid the Worst,” serving as a reminder that taking precautions on a farm can be the difference between life and death.

In support of this initiative, AgriSafe will host a series of 10 free webinars from September 22 to 26, aimed at farmers, ranchers, health professionals, and community members. The sessions will be held in the AgriSafe
