Max B is finally closer to freedom than ever before.
On Monday, September 15, the veteran New York rapper, born Charley Wingate, took to Instagram and shared a letter the New Jersey State Parole Board sent him last month. In it, Carla M. Shabazz, the Director of the Division of Release, confirmed that the state of New York had accepted his parole plan, which will begin upon his release in a couple of months. In his caption, Max B confirmed that he will be released from Northern State Prison on November 9, a day earlier than expected .
“The Wave touches down November 9. The countdown begins," he wrote.
The 46-year-old artist was originally sentenced to 75 years in prison after he was convicted of murder and armed robbery. After his trial in 2009, both Max and his co-defendant, Kelv
