A 45-year-old man from Onondaga County was critically injured Monday, Sept. 15, when the tractor-trailer he was driving overturned in a ditch along Route 104 in Sodus, Wayne County.

The crash occurred around 11:40 a.m. when the tractor-trailer tipped onto its passenger side on the south side of Route 104, according to the New York State Police.

Driver partially ejected and found unconscious

The driver, identified as Timothy Zrebiec of Manlius, was the only occupant of the truck. He was partially ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was found unconscious at the scene by emergency responders.

Zrebiec suffered multiple serious injuries and was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit, police said.
