CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A Charleston County magistrate judge has been suspended from his judicial duties by the Supreme Court of South Carolina.

James B. Gosnell, Jr.

Documents state specifically that Kittredge found Gosnell’s “continued service as a magistrate in Charleston County poses a substantial threat of serious harm to the public and the administration of justice.”

It stated the suspension was based on credible information provided to the court.
