BRIDGEPORT (WV News) — Officials with North Central West Virginia Airport are awaiting final authorization to put an important component of the new terminal building project out to bid.
The U.S. Economic Development Administration still needs to sign off allowing the airport to solicit bids for the building's parking lot, Deputy Airport Director Shawn Long said Tuesday.
"At this point it's just a matter of making sure all the legal obligations are satisfied with them before they will allow us to put it out to bid," he said.
Officials hope to hear from U.S. EDA by next week, Long said.
"The last list they gave us had three items on it, so we're hoping that this next submission that we're going to turn around by the end of this week, I'm hoping that's our last submission," he said. "Theo
