COLEMAN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - More than a dozen prisoners are reporting injuries after a bus crash in Coleman County Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened on one of the major highways near the town of Santa Anna sometime before 1:00 p.m. KTAB and KRBC are en route and working to confirm the exact location of the crash.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials confirm more than a dozen, likely around 15-16, prisoners were injured when the bus and a car collided on the highway. Many of the prisoners are seeking hospital treatment, though all injuries are considered minor at this time.
