AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher has shared his thoughts on WWE’s recent strategy of counter-programming AEW’s pay-per-view events. Throughout 2025, WWE has consistently scheduled its NXT premium live events on the same days as AEW pay-per-views. This month, the competition will escalate as WWE will run its first-ever Wrestlepalooza premium live event on Saturday, September 20, the same date as AEW’s All Out.

Speaking with Good Karma Wrestling, Fletcher was asked for his thoughts on the counter-programming. “Man, I think it’s good business practice from the other team. I think they’re trying to squash us,” he said. “But, for me, it puts a chip on my shoulder.”

He explained that the direct competition only serves as motivation for him to deliver a great performance in his main event match
