A number of ball-stopping performances this past weekend had us recalling that old adage that says, ‘Offense wins games, defense wins championships,’ even though here in Week 2 there wasn’t an inch of hardware in sight.

Let us then consider some of these hard-hitting efforts as dress rehearsals for the way-down-the-road post-season.
