Rookie Kaleb Johnson will be replaced as one of the kick returners after he failed to recover a kickoff that the Seahawks pounced on in the end zone for a touchdown in their 31-17 victory at Acrisure Stadium.
The mental gaffe may have been the determining factor to replace the third-round draft choice from Iowa, but Johnson had not exactly provided a spark in the role, anyway. He averaged 23.8 yards on eight returns and never had a return longer than 29 yards.
